Hello,

As part of your campaign for the Transport Ministers, how about trying to
get them to endorse the idea of a CAREFULLY PREPARED European Car Free
Day -- perhaps building on some of the ideas set out in
http://www.ecoplan.org/carfreeday/?  The great beauty of a car free day is
that it gives us an opportunity to show how bikes, more efficient
transportation arrangements, and quieter, safer and better places to live
can be obtained.  An open window, instead of the closed one that you will
see in most cities when you go out into traffic this morning.
