Caros amigos, em Porto Alegre, no Brasil e praticamente qualquer cidade do
mundo onde essa idéia boa provavelmente deve ser colocado em prática,

Aqui é a leitura que eu dou os e-mails e dezenas de comentários que
recebemos em resposta à nossa sugestão de que este poderia ser o momento
certo para obter um código de rua para ler a lei de Porto Alegre - e, se
possível direito atrás que em cada cidade do Brasil. (objectivo Modest!)

E se não houver acordo, parece-me que o próximo passo será realmente o
projecto do texto da lei ou regulamento local, se é isso que deve ser.

Isso exige competência técnica e legal, por isso a minha pergunta é:

1. Quem é que vai começar a redigir este texto?

2. Onde é que vai ser enviada para a inspeção?

3. Qual é o processo de análise e revisão?

4. E quem vai apresentá-la a quem, como e quando?

Perdoem a minha impaciência. Mas quer que aproveitar este momento, ou então
deixá-lo para outra e certamente menos vantajosa dia.

On drafting the Street Code text for Porto Alegre
 
Dear Friends in Porto Alegre, Brazil and just about any city in the world
where this good idea should probably be put in place,
 
Here is the read that I take of the several dozen emails and comments that
we have received in response to our suggestion that this might be the right
time to get a Street Code read in to the law of Porto Alegre -- and if
possible right behind that in every city in Brazil. (Modest objective!) 
 
And if there is agreement, it would seem to me that the next step will be to
actually draft the text of the Law or Local Ordinance if that is what it
should be. 
 
That requires legal and technical competence, so my question are:
 
1.     Who is going to start to draft this text?


2.     Where will it be posted for inspection?


3.     What is the process of review and revision?


4.     And who will present it to whom, how and when?
 
Forgive my impatience. But either we sieze this moment, or we leave it to
another and certainly less advantageous day.
