"Should car advertising be more heavily regulated, etc., etc."

More on, this time from Canada.

Yesterday's feature article under this title generated a number of immediate
comments and responses from readers in Australia, Canada and Germany,
including the  following announced "Canadian Code of Advertising Standards
re Motor Vehicle Advertising", a "stakeholder approach" to dealing with
these thorny  issues.  We produce it here in its essentials together with
URLs for further information.  But does it actually do the job?
