 We are pleased to announce that *Two Billion Cars: Driving Toward
Sustainability*, by ITS-Davis director Daniel Sperling and Deborah Gordon,
has recently been published.  This new book explains the challenges
presented by increasing vehicle use, oil consumption, and GHG emissions, and
discusses strategies for transforming vehicles, fuels, and mobility. Much of
the work is based on Dan's 17 years of leadership and research at ITS-Davis.
 It includes a foreword by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.  For
