[sustran] Database for Strategic Policy Options launched (IGES)

Dear Sustran members,

Please kindly be informed that IGES has launched an open database
for policy-makers which identifies 'Strategic Policy Options (SPOs)'
 - the keys to promote environmental innovation in the Asia-Pacific region.

The database has eight sub-themes such as financial mechanisms for
renewable energy development and environmentally-sustainable transport
systems for urban areas. Each SPO highlights critical instruments required
for its implementations, expected impacts, evaluation, its applicability and
limitations. A total of approximately 150 SPOs are shown in the database.
