In the monstrosity that is the new Philcoa overpass (UP Diliman), electrical wires passing through the bridge caused heavy traffic (wait for it) on the sidewalk! 

Frustrated citizens then took matters in their own hands and crossed the busy highway without the overpass, causing further congestion in the area.
