Two and three wheelers are synonymous with the growth of Asia in the
past decades – they are the most preferred personal mode of travel, due
to their ease to find a beeline in traffic jams and also due to their
lower cost of ownership compared to cars. Managing the growth of these
vehicles is essential in keeping Asian cities competitive.
This updated version of the module “Two and Three wheelers”, authored by
Mr. N.V. Iyer, focuses on the latest trends in two and three wheelers'
growth and various best practices in management of this type of
vehicles. This updated version also has a section authored by Dr.
Christopher Cherry on the impacts of electric bikes with case studies
from China.
