2006 Asian Air Quality Management Champion

The Search is on!

Each movement needs its heroes! Who are the heroes of air quality 
management in Asia? For the first time in the history of BAQ, awards will 
be handed out to persons who have shaped air quality management in their 
city or country.  We are looking for persons who went beyond the call of 
duty and who can inspire other people in Asia in taking action to improve 
the air quality in their city or country.

If you know of a person who deserves to be crowned as the 2006 Asian Air 
Quality Management Champion please fill out this nomination form and send 
it before 1 October 2006 to Dang Agudo (mdagudo at gmail.com) with copy to 
Michael Co (mrco at adb.org). The BAQ 2006 Organizing Committee has set up an 
awards committee headed by Prof. Frank Murray of Murdoch University who 
will draw up a short list of 5 persons from the nominations submitted. 
These 5 persons will be invited to make a presentation in the plenary 
session of BAQ 2006 following which the BAQ 2006 participants will select 
the overall 2006 Asian Air Quality Management Champion.
