Dear Sustran colleagues,
Berlin/Germany is celebrating 32 years of bus lanes and has now more than
100 Km of them in the city.

As in Hamburg/Germany the right wing politicans are destroying bus lanes
in the Stresemannstraße, to give lorries and cars more space on the
streets. There is a big political debate around that bus lane so it is
quite interesting to study. Since some months there is every Friday a
demonstration on the Stresemannstrasse.
The homepage from a citizen initative for the bus-lane gives a good
overview for those familiar with the german language.
