SUT is the modern communication medium for developers, regulators, operators
and financiers of passenger and freight traffic systems in our increasingly
urbanised world. SUT's focus is to highlight solutions for cost-effective
and environmentally-friendly transportation movements within the cities of
the Asian triangle encompassing Japan, India and New Zealand.

Monthly (except January) the SUT email provides links to six Information
Silos, soon to be available only to SUT subscribers, who will also receive
the SUT magazine three times a year. These news services are supported by
SUT conferences.

BUSES - SAFER THAN MANY THINK
Of the 17,840 road fatalities between 1990 and 1998 on Australian roads, bus
occupants accounted for just 0.6%. Of the 178,567 hospitalisations from road
accidents between 1990 and 1997, bus occupants accounted for just 0.6%. And
the figures have improved since then.
