While it is good to see some pedestrian infrastructure [altho if they
didn't build the road it is likely that the walkways would be superfluous],
it is saddening to see Vietnam adopting the same disastrous policies as the
rest of us ... especially when you consider how they defeated the U.S.A.
[and before them France and Japan] using bicycles as the main component of
their military logistics.

The first acquisitions of a post-austerity society are affluenza and amnesia.
